Going on vacation had taken a lot of convincing from Annie and everyone he knew, plus a huge leap of faith on Auggie's part. His last vacation hadn't turned out so well, but he had high hopes for this one. It was an all inclusive beach resort, with small cottages for everyone that included all the luxuries one could imagine. There was a spa, optional dinners in the dining room, buffets, dancing, various ocean activities including surf lessons, wave runners and scuba diving. They'd been there a couple of days and were settling in fairly well. He woke up early that morning and wandered out onto the beach with a cup of coffee. Annie would be awake soon and they could decide how to spend their day.

Well he was very tactile in everything he did. He splayed his fingers over her hip then slide it up her ribs, pulling her close.

"Now see, you're making me regret coffee and the early morning vibe I had going. It sounds like your idea of a morning could have been much better."

He was still getting used to it as well, but it was a good thing to get used to. It was nice in a way, being caught by surprise like that. They were still new and it thrilled him in a way that little else did.

"If you keep that up, you won't have to worry about regrets or the things you missed because you're gonna find yourself led right back to bed, Mr. Anderson," she practically purred before humming into her coffee cup. "And there's something to be said about coffee on vacation. It just tastes better if you're not racing to work."

She hadn't moved from his lap; it was just a very comfortable place to be, at least for her. And since he hadn't made a move for her to move, she planned on staying where she was until he mentioned it or stopped doing that thing with his hand on her hip.
